UPDATE 22/06/24
Sadly no good news so far for this lovely dog. If you are someone looking for a loving faithful companion who will return your love tenfold and always want to be with you, and if you can give him walks or even just a run around in a fenced in garden, but you are unable to pay an adoption fee, we are willing and happy to cover the veterinary fees and accept a donation you can afford, in order to get Luigi to a happy life. At the moment he has space, food and water, but not the human companion he craves.
Beautiful nine year old Luigi, finds himself in a sticky situation. His elderly owner has had to go into hospital and from there will be going into care, so, unable to take Luigi. His future was looking bleaker than bleak until his lovely neighbours knew that they had to do everything to save him. So, he has a reprieve and we are doing everything to find him a happy home where he will get walks and love. He just loves people and is ok with other dogs, needing a little time to get used to other males. That is very common with older dogs who are abandonned, their lives have been turned upside down, they have no idea why, just that everything they knew has suddenly disappeared and they have to adapt to new surroundings. Just like us, they need to have the time to adjust to a new life and other acquaintances.
